About us and the Greyhound Country Inn

About us and the Greyhound Country Inn

Great ales, Great food, and a Great Atmosphere…….
The Greyhound Country Inn is a Free House and a Beautiful thatched Inn, in Fenny Bridges
We believe it dates back to the Domesday times of 1086, being one of the coaching inns on the network of routes belonging to the Greyhound Stagecoach Company.
Wayne & Tina Percival have owned the Inn since February 2014, they have upped sticks from their home town of Gravesend in Kent, where they ran a very successful public house.
They are professional and dedicated couple who will put this beautiful Inn back on the map where it belongs!
They pride themselves in bringing you the best classic British menu with their own twist
Head Chef “Mike Perry” has cooked all over the world from top restaurants in London to the glistening waters of Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, to the enchanting Irrawaddy River in the ancient land of Burma, where he worked as Executive Chef aboard the Orient Express Cruiser “The Road to Mandalay”. His style of cooking is heavily influenced by the flavours of his travel so make sure you check out the Specials board!
Mike has published his own book which is on sale with us.
